R41 Eurostile
Designed by Aldo Novarese in 1962
The Eurostile family is a reflection of our age, in which sans serif type is without doubt one of the most used. Nebiolo, who originally created this new typeface of unmistakable form, offered to the graphic arts world
the ideal means to modernize printed matter. Today more than ever the designer gives his attention to the aesthetic balance: the spaces, the lines, the backgrounds and the colour are all closely connected in a unique visual game in order to obtain perfect composition. Among these factors the typeface is of vital importance as it is almost always the principal actor. Considered from technical and artistic points of view, Eurostile therefore has the necessary qualities to realize typographically the designer’s idea.
